Omotesando Koffee

Tokyo's cult-favourite coffee specialist is a minimalist marvel.

Publish Date: 07 February 2020

This Tokyo-born coffee shop leapt to global fame in 2011 thanks to its backstreet location and exacting attention to detail.

From a minimalist cubic wooden stall, a small team of baristas serve up the brand’s signature handshaken coffees made from single-origin selections or one of two house blends. Definitely worth the wait!

How to get there: Omotesando Koffee is around 13 minutes' walk from S@S Bangkok. Take a left onto Rama 1 Road and walk about 400 metres before alighting the stairs to the pedestrian overpass in front of BACC. For air-con comfort, you can enter Siam Discovery and then pass through Siam Center on your way to Siam Paragon mall. The coffee shop can be found on the third floor of the mall in the North Zone. For a slightly quicker route, take the BTS Skytrain one stop to Siam station (THB16), from which you can directly access Siam Paragon.
