Day 1: Arrival & Siam Exploration

Start by making your way from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the hotel, either book airport transfer directly through the Siam@Siam Design Hotel Bangkok or take the Airport Rail Link to Phaya Thai and transfer to the BTS toward National Stadium station, right at the hotel's doorstep.

Once you check in (or drop your luggage if your room isn't ready yet), refuel with lunch or brunch at Chim Chim Bangkok, the hotel's all-day dining café. Spend the afternoon browsing the Siam area, Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Square, and Siam Escape all sit within easy walking distance, so families can wander at their own pace.

• Head back to the hotel around 5:00 PM to rest before dinner. In the evening, treat the family to a special meal at TAAN Bangkok, the hotel's Thai fine-dining restaurant known for its modern take on Thai ingredients. 
• Afterward, ride up to Paradise Lost Bangkok, the hotel's rooftop bar on the 25th floor, open from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM with a Paradise Hour (happy hour) from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Watch the Bangkok skyline light up before heading back down to rest for the night.

Day 2: Art, Thai Heritage & MBK

Enjoy breakfast at Chim Chim Bangkok between 7:30 and 9:00 AM, the buffet or à la carte menu is available even without a pre-booked package.

• By 9:30 AM, walk over to BACC (Bangkok Art & Culture Center), just a short stroll from the hotel, and explore its rotating exhibitions. From there, continue to the Jim Thompson House Museum around 11:30 AM for a more traditional look at Thai heritage and architecture. 

For lunch around 1:30 PM, both are close to the museum and convenient for the day's route:

• KŌKULABO Bangkok: modern Japanese restaurant and sushi house, serving lunch 11:00 AM–3:30 PM
• SOMA Bangkok: modern Thai cuisine, serving lunch 11:00 AM–4:00 PM

Spending the rest of the afternoon, from about 2:30 to 6:00 PM, at MBK Center, there's no need to rush, since this is intentionally a slower stretch after a morning of culture. Return to the hotel by 6:00 PM for free family time: a casual dinner around Siam, another meal at Chim Chim Bangkok, sunset drinks at Paradise Lost, or simply resting in.

Day 3: Thai History & Old Bangkok

After breakfast at Chim Chim, set out around 9:30 AM for Museum Siam, take the BTS from National Stadium to Sala Daeng, then switch to the MRT from Si Lom station to Sanam Chai.

Around noon, grab lunch in the Old Town area, where authentic street food stalls are everywhere. Afterward, visit Wat Phra to see the famous reclining Buddha, it's worth taking your time here rather than rushing to see too many temples in one day.

By 3:00 PM, continue on to the Grand Palace. A quick reminder for families: shoulders and knees need to be covered to enter, so dress accordingly. Around 5:00 PM, catch a boat to ICONSIAM, one of Bangkok's most famous shopping malls, the ride along the Chao Phraya River is a highlight in itself, especially with the sunset as a backdrop. After a full day of sightseeing, head back to the hotel to rest.

Day 4: Science & Chatuchak Weekend Market

Note: Chatuchak Market is open weekends only, so plan this day accordingly.

Start with breakfast at Chim Chim until around 9:00 AM, then take the BTS from National Stadium to Ekkamai station for the Bangkok Planetarium (Science Center for Education), a great stop for curious kids.

Around noon, have lunch in the Ekkamai area; a well-known Ka Prao (Thai basil fried) spot nearby is worth seeking out, or simply explore the restaurants around Ekkamai bus stop. After lunch, head to Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the world's largest markets, known for clothing, souvenirs, Thai crafts, home décor, snacks, and local products, just follow whichever sections interest your family most.

Once you've had your fill of browsing, return to the hotel in the evening and wind down at Paradise Lost rooftop bar, taking in the view from the top of the city one more time.

Day 5: Last Day in Town

Enjoy one final breakfast at Chim Chim, then spend the morning doing any last-minute shopping around the Siam area. In the afternoon, head back to the hotel to collect your belongings before heading to the airport.
