One of the biggest and brightest events on Pattaya’s calendar is Wonderfruit. It’s been called Thailand’s version of Coachella or Burning Man. The four-day festival of art, music, food and wellness returns for the sixth time this December 12-16, 2019 and we’re proud to be the Official Hotel Partner. Thinking of attending? Here are a few reasons why you should come and soak up the art, music, food and big ideas of Wonderfruit at Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya.
We’ve Got Tickets For You
Stay one night in a Leisure Class room at THB 12,500 net and we’ll throw in a pair of four-day Wonderfruit passes so you can catch all the festival action. Score! These rooms are cleverly designed, with oversized windows that look out over Pattaya and balconies (in some rooms) that let you enjoy the sea breeze. Stay on longer for an additional THB 3,500 net per night. See Special Offers for all the details.
Transport is Sorted
And so there’s nothing holding you back, you can also enjoy a complimentary round-trip shuttle bus (not via this cute Volkswagen, though) from Siam@Siam Pattaya to the fields. Buses will run regularly in both directions from 3 pm in the afternoon till the very, very early morning. See the timetable on our Facebook page.
You Can Sleep In and Not Miss Breakfast
Coming back late from the party? Get your forty winks safe in the knowledge we’re rolling out late, late breakfast at Big Fish until 11:30 am. That includes all your eggy favourites whipped up a la minute, access to our Healthy Corner packed with homemade jams, spreads and fresh fruits, as well as flavourful Thai fare. Make a beeline for our Morning Boost juice station, which serves healthtastic concoctions like the Cilantro Detox (cilantro, cucumber, ginger and lemon), which aims to reduce stress, or the Turmeric Carrot G (apple, ginger, carrot and turmeric), which boasts health benefits like reducing the risk of cancer and helping eyesight. Partied a little too hard? Our Hangover Corner combines the restorative qualities of honey, ginger and green tea.
Our Sky Bar hits the high notes
Our Pool's Got the Ultimate View of Pattaya
Take a well-earned break from the hot and sweaty festival grounds at Sky Bar, home to the highest hotel rooftop pool in Pattaya. Proving two is better than one, our rooftop infinity pool is split across two floors, where sweeping views of Pattaya Bay come paired with delish food and drinks (served from 7 am till midnight), as well as live music.
Two is better than one at Car Bar
It’s Always Happy Hour (Well, Almost)
Love sunsets? Happy hours? Of course you do. Head to Sky Bar (27th floor) early for buy-one-get-one-free on drinks from 4-5 pm and claim the best seat in the house. Keep the party going when the same deal is available at Sky Restaurant (24th floor) from 7-8 pm. As if you’re not sold, drop by our lobby-floor Car Bar from 8-9 pm and then midnight-1 am for buy-one-get-one-free on beer, cocktails and other drinks.
Seafood BBQ Buffet at Big Fish
Seafood is Our Specialty
If you love seafood, our Big Fish has the best seafood buffet in Pattaya. That’s not just our boasting—TripAdvisor agrees. Our sixth-floor eatery serves super-fresh seafood and other comforting fare in an underwater-inspired space popping with eclectic artworks, jellyfish lamps, a fish-tail bar and other photogenic features. Come for the nightly Seafood BBQ Buffet (THB 777 net per person), featuring a bounty of New Zealand mussels, shellfish, freshwater lobster, shrimp and more; stay for the upbeat live music long into the night. It helps that our head chef, Niran, is an Iron Chef Thailand winner. Oh, and isn’t everything always better with free-flow wine? The price for both food and drink is just THB 1,099 net.
All Your Wonderfruit Questions Will Be Answered
For the duration of the festival, we’ll have a Wonderfruit Centre set up in our lobby. That means if you’ve got a question that needs answering, we’ll be on hand to help around the clock. What a breeze!
Plantastic is fantastic!
We’re Pushing for Positive Change
Aside from the non-stop music and dancing, Wonderfruit aims to promote how living sustainably can be creative, colourful and fun. In order to cut down on unnecessary waste, all single-use plastic is banned from the four-day event. This is something we also feel strongly about. That’s why Siam@Siam Pattaya only uses straws made 100% from plants! These compostable straws use 65% less energy in their production and contribute 68% fewer greenhouse gases. When it comes to bathroom toiletries, we’ve also swapped out all travel-size shampoo, conditioner and soap bottles for refillable large containers (from Malin+Goetz, no less!) to help cut down on wasted plastic. And we’re only just getting started. Stay tuned for more exciting developments.
There Are Plenty More Surprises in Store
We’re not going to let you visit the fields unprepared. We’ve prepped a Wonderfruit Survival Kit packed with a swag of things you definitely need to survive the wildest four days of 2019. What’s in it? That’s a secret… for now.
