This small but exciting museum in Pattaya’s Bang Lamung district also has branches in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Visitors are encouraged to go beyond simple art appreciation by injecting themselves into the installations! Dioramas and 3D exhibits portraying everything from dinosaurs to under-the-sea scenes ensure a very hands-on experience that’s especially rewarding for the kinaesthetically-inclined.

Frost Magical Ice of Siam
A great place to admire intricate ice sculptures with the bonus of beating the tropical heat! Here, many works depict a variety of folk tales from throughout both Thai and Indian history. Inside, you’ll also find Siam Heaven, a sub-zero room filled with everything from ice tuk-tuks to small Thai temples. Outside, the faux-snowy Himmapan Forest is home to mythological creatures like flying elephants and trees shaped like women.

Love Art Park
One of Pattaya’s quirkier attractions offers hundreds and hundreds of erotic body sculptures with all sorts of stories to tell. Produced by professional artists, the works abound with humour and even a unique sense of beauty. Despite the somewhat out-of-the-way location, the park is popular among both locals and tourists and makes for a genuinely interesting stroll, especially at night when the park comes to life with vivid lighting and music.

This claims to be the world’s first parody museum and 3D selfie studio, so prepare yourself for artworks that mash together different styles and offer a rather satirical perspective on society. The art on display is always being rotated, but you’re guaranteed to get a little little laugh out of your visit, which is not something you can typically say of the all-too-serious art world. Its downtown Pattaya location boasts a huge 8,300 square metre space, 6,500 of which is set outside.

The Sanctuary of Truth
This beautiful museum and arts hub is said to be the largest wooden structure in Thailand and perhaps even the world. Every part of the building showcases meticulous wooden carvings that are testament to hard-working and highly-skilled artisans. Inside sees exhibits dedicated to contemporary architecture from the reign of King Rama IX (1946-2016) as well as detailed information on the building itself was fashioned using a wood-joining techniques unique to the Kingdom.
